Evidence-informed guidance for nutrition, supplements, lifestyle, treatment support, and survivorship—designed to complement the care you receive from your oncology team.
Secure telehealth appointments available to patients located in Utah.

No two patients—or cancer journeys—are exactly alike. Your recommendations are tailored to your diagnosis, conventional treatment plan, medical history, laboratory findings, symptoms, and personal goals.

Nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, medications, and supportive therapies are considered alongside your conventional cancer treatment. Your plan is designed to complement—not replace—the care provided by your oncology team.

Every recommendation is evaluated through the lens of current research, clinical relevance, potential treatment interactions, and safety. You receive clear guidance about both the potential benefits and limitations of each option.
Your care begins with a complimentary conversation to make sure Restore Health is the right fit. From there, each step is designed to provide clarity, transparency, and a plan that accounts for both your individual needs and your upcoming oncology treatment.

Free 15-Minute Discovery Call
Meet Dr. Nyman, discuss what you are looking for, and learn how his approach may fit alongside your oncology care. This call also provides an opportunity to review appointment pricing and the potential cost of laboratory testing before you decide whether to move forward.
The discovery call is an introductory conversation and does not include medical advice or establish a treatment plan.

Intake and Medical Records
If you decide to proceed, you will complete a detailed intake form and provide your relevant medical records. This gives Dr. Nyman an opportunity to review your diagnosis, treatment history, current medications and supplements, and upcoming standard-of-care treatment timeline before your initial consultation.

Initial Consultation and Preliminary Plan
During your initial consultation, you and Dr. Nyman will discuss your diagnosis, health history, symptoms, goals, and planned oncology treatment in detail. Together, you will establish priorities and develop a preliminary supportive-care plan based on the information currently available.

Individualized Laboratory Evaluation
Dr. Nyman will recommend laboratory testing to better understand your health, identify areas that may benefit from support, and guide refinement of your plan. The scope of testing can be tailored to your clinical needs, goals, preferences, and budget. The purpose, priority, and cost of each recommended test will be reviewed with you so you can make an informed decision before anything is ordered.

Fine-Tuning and Ongoing Care
Once your laboratory results are available, you will meet with Dr. Nyman to review the findings and refine your plan. Together, you will clarify your follow-up schedule, determine appropriate ongoing laboratory monitoring, and continue adjusting your recommendations as your health and oncology treatment evolve.
Your plan is built around your diagnosis, current health, treatment history, upcoming standard-of-care timeline, laboratory findings, and personal priorities. Depending on your needs, care may include:
Receive practical nutrition guidance tailored to your cancer diagnosis, treatment plan, symptoms, metabolic health, food preferences, and ability to maintain adequate nourishment.
Evaluate supplements and natural therapies for potential benefits, limitations, adverse effects, and interactions with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, surgery, and other medications.
When clinically appropriate, consider evidence-informed uses of established medications within a personalized supportive-care plan, with attention to safety, potential interactions, and your conventional oncology treatment.
Develop strategies to support quality of life and address concerns such as fatigue, digestive changes, appetite loss, sleep disruption, neuropathy, inflammation, and other treatment-related challenges.
Address movement, sleep, stress, blood-sugar regulation, cardiovascular health, body composition, and other foundational factors that may influence overall health and resilience.
Use individualized laboratory testing and ongoing monitoring to identify contributors, inform strategy, monitor response, and measure change. All important aspects of a comprehensive plan. All from objective data.

“As a medical professional, I am VERY particular about where I seek care (I want the best!). This is why I continue to see Dr. Nyman…Dr. Nyman was able to pin-point my years-long issue during my first visit (an issue misdiagnosed by several physicians), without expensive imaging or other testing. He simply understands the body, how it is built, and how it is meant to work. At my follow-up visit, he remembered our previous discussion and was able to talk me through next steps for my treatment plan. Therapy prescribed during the appointments have been helpful and on-point. HE KNOWS HIS STUFF.”
